Akaka Falls

  

A self-guided, 0.4 mile, paved path leads through a lush jungle ablaze with colorful and fragrant blossoms to viewpoints over two different falls.  I like to go counter-clockwise, first to the 100-foot Kahuna Falls, then great views of the 442 foot Akaka Falls. The Falls are about 15 miles north of  Hilo.
